Remember that list of nasties? Here's a good example of a product that's used without thinking about the ingredients!
YUCK!

A visit to Maggi cube website reveals that the product is made of the following ingredients:

SALT, MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE, SUGAR, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED PALM OIL, CORNSTARCH, AND LESS THAN 2% OF DEHYDRATED BEEF, CARAMEL COLOR, NATURAL FLAVOR, DISODIUM INOSINATE, SPICES, TURMERIC, TBHQ (PRESERVATIVE).

Do you remember when they tested large doses on retarded children thinking the glutamate in MSG supplied the brain with energy?

Well, the product was called 'L-Glutavite' (I love they way the industry tried to make it sound healthy! Here's a paper about it.
